Last Girls'Day 2024, we experienced an unforgettable day full of technology, innovation and inspiration at our sepp.med headquarters in Röttenbach near Erlangen. It was impressive to see young, tech-savvy girls discovering the world of IT and taking their first steps in a field that has been shaped by female pioneers.
The day began with a warm welcome from our Managing Director Barbara Bilen, followed by a talk on how important women's contributions have been to the success story of IT - a story that has also been driven by women such as Ada Lovelace and Grace Hopper. This introduction was designed to show girls that they are not only welcome in the IT industry, but that they can actively shape it.
Girls'Day 2024 at sepp.med was more than just a day. It was a starting point for many young girls to realize that their skills and interests can lead them into a future that is as dynamic and diverse as IT itself. The positive feedback and the beaming smiles of the participants encourage us to continue organizing this important day in the future.
