At sepp.med, you shape software quality holistically and with a future-oriented mindset – actively influencing our QA portfolio. In this role, you combine consulting expertise with product ownership and thought leadership at the intersection of quality engineering and artificial intelligence. You work with demanding clients in regulated and safety-critical environments, strategically build QA topics both technically and in the market, and position modern solutions with real impact.

Your role is deliberately designed as a three-part mission:
QA & Test Consultant · Product Owner / Evangelist for MBTsuite · Thought Leader for QA & AI

Your responsibilities - consulting, product & thought leadership

Consulting & QA expertise

• Advise clients on QA – design and optimize test strategies, QA processes, and test methods in complex projects
• Test classic and AI-based systems – take responsibility for testing traditional software as well as AI-driven systems
• Apply AI in testing – leverage AI for test case generation, analysis, optimization, and automation
• Run workshops and coaching – enable clients and internal teams on QA, testing, and AI topics
• Advance QA methods – actively drive the evolution of modern QA approaches at sepp.med

MBTsuite – product ownership

• Assume product responsibility – define the vision, requirements, and roadmap for MBTsuite
• Act as an interface between stakeholders – connect market, customers, engineering, and sales
• Support pre-sales and demos – bring your expertise to presentations, demos, and customer meetings
• Leverage customer feedback – collect, assess, and prioritize input from customers and the market
• Position MBTsuite strategically – further develop MBTsuite as a modern QA and MBT tool with a clear AI focus

Knowledge sharing & market presence

• Deliver workshops and talks – run trainings, expert talks, and workshops internally and externally
• Represent sepp.med – act as an expert representative at events, meetups, and conferences
• Create expert content – contribute to blog posts, articles, and whitepapers
• Support marketing and positioning – collaborate on strategic topics around QA, MBT, and AI
• Share knowledge internally – strengthen knowledge transfer and get room for talks, publications, and new ideas

What you bring

• Several years of experience in QA and testing – solid hands-on experience in software quality assurance, testing, and/or test management
• Strong methodological understanding – confident application of test processes, QA strategies, and best practices
• Experience in client-facing or consulting environments – advising customers on an equal footing
• Excellent communication and presentation skills – able to convey complex topics clearly and convincingly
• Enjoyment of knowledge sharing and professional exchange – visible as a subject-matter expert
• Very good German and English skills – confident communication in international project contexts

Optional & welcome

• Experience with model-based testing (MBT) or related approaches
• Experience taking on functional responsibility – e.g., for products, methods, or as a subject-matter lead
• Interest and experience in testing AI-based systems or applying AI in testing
• Experience in knowledge sharing through articles, talks, trainings, or workshops
• Certifications such as ISTQB Advanced, Test Manager, or AI-related qualifications
