As a Test Manager (m/f/d), you will take responsibility for the verification of sophisticated medical technology solutions and ensure that requirements, tests, and results are consistently aligned.From planning and test execution to reporting, you will keep the big picture in mind, coordinate everyone involved, and continuously improve testing processes. You will work with established tools such as Polarion, Windchill, Jira, and Confluence.
Plan and manage design verification – you will plan resources and efforts, monitor verification progress, and support both top-down and bottom-up effort estimations.
Organize professional test execution – you will coordinate test execution, take responsibility for setting up and dismantling test environments as well as configuring test objects, and execute test protocols yourself when needed.
Ensure requirements and traceability – you will review requirements, define acceptance criteria, and ensure end-to-end traceability between requirements, tests, results, and verification evidence.
Document test results systematically – you will define requirements for test documentation, record deviations, summarize test results, and present them transparently to relevant stakeholders.
Continuously improve testing processes – you will review processes and testing standards for compliance and implementation, identify opportunities for improvement, and continuously advance our testing approach.
Coordinate verification teams professionally – together with project management and specialist departments, you will select suitable testers, advise the verification team, and coordinate external service providers when required.
Strong technical qualifications – you hold a bachelor’s, master’s, or equivalent degree in computer science or a comparable qualification, such as vocational training in application development, business informatics, or computational engineering.
Several years of test management experience – you have solid professional experience in software testing and have already taken responsibility as a Test Manager.
Confidence with test management tools – you are comfortable working with Polarion, Windchill, Jira, and Confluence in your day-to-day project work.
MedTech experience is a plus – ideally, you are familiar with the specific challenges involved in developing or testing medical device software.
Analytical and quality-focused mindset – you work in a structured and thorough manner and maintain a clear overview even when dealing with complex topics.
Ownership and assertiveness – you take responsibility, confidently represent your professional assessment, and consistently drive topics forward.
Communication comes naturally to you – you confidently coordinate different stakeholders and can communicate technical and functional topics in a clear and understandable way.
Fluent German and English – you communicate confidently in both languages and are comfortable working in an international project environment.
