Artificial intelligence is increasingly becoming a powerful tool in quality assurance. Yet between technological potential and successful adoption lie numerous challenges: data quality, integration into existing processes, acceptance among employees, proof of cost-effectiveness, and regulatory and ethical questions.

The ASQF Quality Day brings together QA specialists and managers to discuss real-world experience from AI adoption projects – lessons learned, success factors, and pitfalls from a range of industries.

Talk: From Test Cases to Trust Cases

Speaker: Guido Werner | November 3, 2026, 3:55 p.m.

Aviation, automotive, rail, and medical follow different standards, yet they must all face the same core question: How do we build well-founded trust in systems whose residual risk can never be fully eliminated? Our colleague Guido Werner, Site Manager and Account Manager at sepp.med, uses concrete examples from highly regulated industries to show why quality assurance is evolving from a pure verification discipline into an evidence-based assurance discipline – and what role testing, safety, governance, and AI assurance will play in that shift.
